Inspired by the salty sunny beaches of el Caribe, Sol y Mar is a low-ABV single varietal wine with notes of pineapple, pomelo, cucumber and just a touch of salt.
Served in a night of Vino y Boleros over select art and design at Fig and Oak, the whole night is reminiscent of my birth place, Barranquilla.
“La arenosa”, or the sandy one, is the Caribbean home of banquets served over silverware, jazz, bolero and porro nights marinated over wine and a mix of Syrian-Lebanese and Caribbean foods unique to this corner of the world and that feel so poignant right now.
